Here at St Matthew’s Church we’re delighted to see so many families and children attending our 9.30am service on Sundays. On the first Sunday of the month, a Mass For All Ages is held, and the whole church family worships together. Children under the age of 3 are welcome to use the creche room if they are accompanied by a parent or carer. We have a children’s craft table so children (and their parents) may enjoy activities while participating in the main service.
We will be bringing back Messy Church at some point this term - look out for further details.
We prepare children aged 8 and over to receive Holy Communion. If you would like your child to be prepared, please speak to Father Alastair.
Rafters
Toddler Group
If you have little ones, why not come and have fun at the Toddler Group?
Young people in school years 8-13 are invited to join Rafters, a space to discover friendship, belonging, faith and your place in the world. This is a joint group across the four churches in the parish, which meets on Sunday evenings from 6.00-7.30pm - the next session is at St Mary’s on 13 September and then 20 September at St Matthew’s.
Junior Rafters for young people in School Years 6 and 7 will be held at St. Mark’s every other Sunday. The first session will be on Sunday 13 September at 3.30 - 5pm.
Both groups are led by Niks, our Parish Youth lead. For further information please email: youth@parishofwimbledon.org.uk
